New Exhibit

“My Eyes are Not Shut,” an exhibit of photographs and videos by Iowa native Sandra Louise Dyas, has opened in Drake University’s Anderson Gallery. The works capture Midwestern themes and memories and include “Lost in the Midwest,” a series of portraits, and “Heaven and Earth,” an installation inspired by Iowa landscapes. Dyas’ work has been featured in museums, such as the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, as well as in a number of publications, including Vogue and The New York Times. The exhibit runs through Oct. 12.
