… to the Winter’s Farmers Market Nov. 16–17 and Dec. 14–15 at Capital Square and Nollen Plaza. No need to despair over the end of the Downtown Farmers Market just yet; this event extends the season a bit—and also provides a perfect place to start your holiday shopping. About 125 vendors will sell locally raised products, including eggs, beef, pork and turkeys, as well as late-season and greenhouse produce. And no doubt the people on your gift list would appreciate the locally produced honey, jam, salsa, cheese and more that will be available. Adding to the festive feel: Christmas trees, poinsettias, holiday home décor and holiday ornaments also will be for sale.
