Tickets to the Des Moines Art Center’s popular Big Hair Ball–which is held every two years–are now on sale. Celebrating hair as a form of artistic self-expression, the June 1 event will feature a runway show produced by local salons, plus live music and special performances. Advance tickets are $50 ($45 for members) and $75 for VIP seats. Buy them in the Art Center’s Museum Shop or at desmoinesartcenter.org.
