By Belle Du Chene

The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines is collaborating with a group of seven local companies and nonprofit groups to launch The Ignite Community Innovation Challenge, a grant award “designed to encourage nonprofit organizations to re-think, re-frame, re-position and re-imagine how they carry out their missions,” according to the foundation. The top idea will be awarded up to $30,000 and the runner-up $15,000. Hear what Sara Bonney, the Community Foundation’s director of marketing and communications, has to say in this video.
