Main Attraction: AIB College of Business announced that any Monroe Colston donations remaining after AIB closes on June 30, 2016, will be added to the Monroe Colston Endowment at the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, which AIB established with a $50,000 donation in March. This endowment will honor the civic leader’s legacy and will live on in perpetuity to provide funding for financially needy Des Moines high school graduates of diverse ethnic backgrounds to pursue higher education at two- or four-year regionally accredited colleges or universities.

Bottom line: More than $105,000
