Main Attraction: Easter Seals Iowa leadership, team members and clients met with Iowa legislators at the annual Easter Seals Iowa Legislative Reception January 26 at the State Capitol. Legislative priorities to support people with disabilities were discussed. Easter Seals Iowa also thanked legislators for their support including funding several hundred thousand dollars for renovations at Camp Sunnyside and support of the Rural Solutions program, which enables farmers who have acquired a disability to continue farming. Easter Seals Iowa provides exceptional services to ensure all people with disabilities or special needs, and their families, have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in our community.
