Main Attraction: More than 800 people attended the Greater Des Moines Heart Ball to celebrate the American Heart Association’s accomplishments and raise funds to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke right here in Central Iowa. Guests were treated to live and silent auctions, dinner, Colby Red wine (made by a congenital heart defect survivor and his father in California), inspirational survivor stories, and live music and dancing with Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
