Main Attraction: Guests enjoyed opening remarks by 2016 Tango Gala Honorary Chairs Mary and Suku Radia, dancing to music by Final Mix, trendy food stations and the opportunity to bid on spectacular trips and other items in the live and silent auctions, all while benefiting a good cause.

“Tango is a wonderful opportunity for people to enjoy a night out while investing in programs that help individuals and families living in Iowa get their lives back on a positive track,” says Amy Stapp-Arpy, CFI’s Chief Development Officer/Vice President of Development and Communications. “We had a very generous and engaged crowd and we are very thankful to everyone who attended in support of those in need. Our deepest appreciation goes out to Suku and Mary Radia for their leadership, our sponsors, board members and volunteers for their commitment to restoring hope for at-risk Iowans.”

Unique Touch: Live and silent auction packages including a unique Kentucky Bourbon trail tour and tasting.

Food: A large variety of heavy hors d’oeuvres

Bottom Line: Donations raised through the event exceeded goal at over $142,000! Funds will be utilized to support emergent programing needs in areas such as domestic violence shelter, therapy, teen substance abuse treatment, child care assistance for the working poor and parenting education.
