Hear 1,000 Interesting Words

Thursday, Moberg is an art gallery for listening.

We’re never too old to appreciate someone reading to us. Even better is listening to writers read their own work. You have that opportunity again this Thursday, Feb. 16, when Moberg Gallery hosts another in a series called “1,000 Words or More.” Indie publisher Nomadic Press presents four authors from local colleges and universities (DMACC, Simpson and Drake), who will read their fiction and poetry.

This third presentation in the quarterly series will feature writers Marc Dickinson, Robert Schulte Jr., David Wolf and Carol Spaulding-Kruse. Doors open at 6 p.m. Readings will be held from 6.30 to 7.30 p.m. The event is free, and patrons are invited to stay later to mingle, discuss and browse books for sale.
