Event write-up: Honors celebrated Greater Des Moines’ caretakers and change-makers, including six Distinguished Leadership Award honorees and the 50 newest Community Leadership Program graduates. Institute alumnus, Mollie Cooney (CLP ’92), KCCI (retired), served as emcee.
Our capstone Honors event celebrated the Des Moines Community and the change-makers, leaders and pioneers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Our Distinguished Leadership Awards highlighted the selfless acts of those Community Leaders who have made strides to the betterment of our community. We were honored to celebrate six Institute alumni, on their accomplishments throughout the community, as they provided significant leadership in our Des Moines community since their participation in the Community Leadership Program.
