Support Local With These Date Night Boxes

Enjoy charcuterie from One Board Gal as a part of BOCS DSM’s latest Date Night box, complete with food, drinks and activity ideas.

“Pivot” has been one of the most-used words—and actions—this past year. And event producer Amy Nebons of BOCS DSM not only pivoted her own work, but is also making it easier for other local businesses to do so as well.

“I launched BOCS DSM at the end of September in response to what I saw as a huge opportunity to satisfy a need and want: deeper connections in the ever-growing virtual age,” Nebons says.

The main service BOCS DSM provides is “personalized and thoughtful gifts for a specific audience,” Nebons explains—like for virtual events, employee or customer appreciation gifts, and beyond. But it also serves up boxes for the masses, with gifts from local businesses. That includes a Date Night box with food, drinks and activities. Other packages include candles, cookies, sunglasses and more.

Order the second-ever Date Night box before midnight Friday to get early-bird pricing ($140) or use the code “FLASH10” before midnight Tuesday for 10% off ($126). The box includes:

  • Limoncello cocktail and a bottle of red wine from the Bartender’s Handshake.
  • Cheese and charcuterie from One Board Gal.
  • Pasta and salad from Aposto.
  • Roasted garlic focaccia from Bread by Chelsea B.
  • Cheesecake from Crème.
  • Bonding activity from XO-LP.
For one price and one stop—pick up between 12 and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, at 4944 Franklin Ave., Unit K—your date night is all set.

Wife and I shared the first “date box” that BOCS DSM curated on Valentines day and it did NOT disappoint. Cocktails and food were on point, reheating instructions were easy, and the card game included were surprisingly engaging.
