Broadway Returns To Des Moines

Broadway is back! Des Moines Performing Arts this morning announced its new schedule for the Willis Broadway Series at the Civic Center, including rescheduled shows that had to be delayed because of the pandemic as well as new ones. The season begins later this year with “The Band’s Visit” on Oct. 12-17.

The renowned “Hamilton” will make its second visit to Des Moines on May 17-June 5, 2022. Other shows are “Tootsie,” “Rent,” “Hadestown” and “Cats,” among others. Season tickets are available to purchase or renew at DMPA.org, in-person at the Civic Center ticket office, or by phone at 515-246-2300. Single tickets will be available at a later time.
