Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: Justin, Lacie and their son McKinley, are the caretakers of a 200-head cow herd located along the North Raccoon River in Greene County where they grow corn, soybeans, hay, oats and cover crops. The farm-to-table segment of their business offers naturally raised, homegrown beef for purchase through their online store.

Q: What do you love about your career?
A: Raising beef is a complex process, but throughout the entire journey, one thing remains constant — the shared commitment to raising cattle in a safe, humane and environmentally sustainable way. Conservation is never complete and the Robbins family enjoys the daily challenge of continuous improvements.

Q: What are some guiding principles you’ve used in your career?
A: The Robbins family believes it is their duty to leave the land better today than how they found it yesterday. Their efforts to improve water quality and soil health on their crop acres go hand-in-hand with their cattle operation. Every day they view life as a gift as they love God, family, farming and wrestling!

Q: What is a fact about yourself others may not know?
A: Justin and Lacie firmly believe animal agriculture is part of the climate solution, not the problem. They are dedicated to continuous environmental improvements and to producing a high-quality source of protein to nourish your family.
