After their wedding, David Braun and Cameron Cooper danced with friends at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates.
David Braun and Cameron Cooper eloped in Des Moines on March 15. They gathered a few of their closest friends for a morning ceremony at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates, where Cameron’s sister Meredith married the couple on the ornate steps.
“To keep it very ‘us’ we even incorporated lyrics from a Britney Spears song,” David said. “The entire day absolutely represented us and our relationship.”
They bounced across the river to the Blazing Saddle, where the pair signed their marriage certificate before heading to Clyde’s Fine Diner for a celebratory dinner and cake. The festivities carried on into the night as more friends joined the newlyweds at various bars around the East Village, with stops at Ernie’s Boondock and Black Sheep.
