A hot bowl of pho from A Dong, exercise at the Wellmark YMCA, books from Des Moines Public Library, performances at Des Moines Performing Arts and the Des Moines Playhouse, visits to the Des Moines Art Center, plus hiking in the snow if the temperatures aren’t ridiculous. My favorite comfort food when I eat out is the chicken fricassee from Ceviche Bar.
