Ever walked into someone’s home and wished you could just wrap it up and take it with you?

While that’s probably not a good practice in real life, there is a place where that dream can come true. The Elements Interiors, located in Ankeny’s Prairie Trail, has complete home style that’s ready to go.

Walk in. Love the look. Walk out with basically everything you see.

Unlike a lot of design stores that offer you a sneak peek at their furnishings’ collection — but require you wait weeks or months to get it — the items in The Elements are ready to go. (Although customizing is always an option.) Their 8,000 square feet of showroom space is backed up by an even larger warehouse.

“Literally everything in our store is available,” says co-owner Ryan Inks. “Clients can take possession of their home at 8 in the morning and by 5, it’s fully furnished and done. Otherwise we can fully customize a project and pick every single thing down to the finest detail, so it really can move at any pace [the customer] wants.”

“We can kind of do it all,” says Orosco. “We’re a turnkey solution. Just about anything you’d find on the interior of the home, we have here.”

With five interior designers on staff and many more retail specialists, The Elements has a staff ready to assist with everything from a lamp to an entire home. And the store’s inventory is changing daily.

“It’s kind of a mix of everything,” Inks says. “I mean, the instant gratification is wonderful. And we try to carry such an array of styles that we usually have a few things that everybody likes and would want to use. It’s the kind of place that people can check back almost weekly and always find new and different pieces.”

Both Inks and co-owner Michelle Orosco understand that décor and style — and the budget that goes with them — can be very personal things. The Elements’ goal is to consider both for every client that walks through the door. The store’s curated selection features items from $15 knickknacks to $6,000 sofas. And everything in between. Browse the store and you’ll find the designers, surrounded by fabric memos, flooring samples, paint chips and more, hard at work in the design studio tucked into the back of the store.

“We can kind of do it all,” says Orosco. “We’re a turnkey solution. Just about anything you’d find on the interior of the home, we have here.”

To supplement their grand inventory and custom service, The Elements has its own project coordinator and installers, as well as a long list of skilled outside vendors to make the decorating process seamless. They also handle receiving and delivery. (A mind-blowing $100 delivery fee includes as much as you can fit in their truck.)

Just shopping for a gift or updating a bookshelf? Stop in seven days a week. The showroom staff is knowledgeable and accommodating, no matter your décor goals.

“We have a huge population of shoppers … and our floor staff gets to know [them],” says Inks. “It’s a great resource for people who are self-decorators and like to have a fun store they can go to and find new decorative items.”

Whether you drop by, stop in online at ankenyelements.com, or check out the posts on Facebook or Instagram, The Elements has the items, the attitude, and the price point you’re looking for.
