Unique touch, food, music, funds raised: The Viewing Party for Yankee Doodle Pops is the Des Moines Symphony’s premier annual fundraising event. At this year’s event, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with music from the The Pelicans followed by delicious summer fare catered by Baratta’s. Attendees viewed a live telecast of the Des Moines Symphony’s Yankee Doodle Pops concert on the terrace, bid on silent auction items and had the best view in town of the fireworks. Nearly 500 guests attended the sold-out event. Proceeds benefit the Des Moines Symphony & Academy.
