Q: What do you love most about Greater Des Moines?
A: The people, opportunities and the beer! I have traveled a lot throughout my lifetime, and “Iowa Nice” is a real thing I value greatly. Our clients and subcontractors are second to none, something we do not take for granted. The Des Moines brewery scene is also a plus!
Q: How did you get started in your career?
A: I first got started in the construction industry by helping a friend back in high school with residential remodels. Shortly after, I began moving my way up the totem pole in the commercial sector, working in roles such as a carpenter, superintendent and project manager. Now, I am the proud owner of Graphite Construction Group.
Q: What do you love about your career?
A: Opportunity and community. I love that in this industry, I am presented with a new opportunity every day. Nothing stays the same in construction, and constant change is an opportunity to showcase my ability to provide solutions. I enjoy doing my best to help provide a better way of living for future generations.
Q: What is a fact about yourself others may not know?
A: I am a HUGE Kansas City Chiefs fan, and I was at the season ticket holder party the night Patrick Mahomes was drafted. I had my picture taken with their first Super Bowl Trophy right before they announced the Patrick Mahomes pick…it was fate!
