Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: Silent Rivers, Winner of the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics, is a highly respected Design+Build company celebrating 29 years in remodeling, custom new homes, outdoor spaces, historic preservation, custom cabinetry and fine furniture.
Q: What do you love most about Greater Des Moines?
A: We absolutely adore the community and the art scene. We’re actively engaged in community and arts supporting endeavors including, The Des Moines Arts Festival, Green Drinks, Highway cleanup, 6th Avenue Corridor Project, the Clive Chamber of Commerce, and many more.
Q: How did you get started in your career?
A: Silent Rivers was founded in 1993 by artist Chaden Halfhill. With a passion for the future of art and design, he was excited to find like-minded artisans with whom he could work on a variety of art and building projects, remodeling and construction by day, art by night. The rest, as they say, is history!
Q: What are some guiding principles you’ve used in your career?
A: Our art has the power to transform and inspire people to connect them to themselves, their home. Connected, you know that we are all part of the same world and we can do more than just inhabit it. We can evolve it to an even better world.
