JERRY: Q: What’s something you’ve learned in the last 30 days?
A: Everything keeps changing; you need to evolve, or you will be left behind.
Q: What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
A: I grew up on a farm. Everything we did was weird!
Q: Who inspires you?
A: My dad told me don’t ever give up, just keep going. There’s a reason to get up every morning. He’s my inspiration.
ROGER: Q: What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter your field?
A: Train and master the product and the process.
Q: What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
A: I’ve been in the car business since I was 13 years old — I was given a pair of 50-year-old hedge clippers from Stew Hansen and asked to cut down a small forest.
BEAU: Q: What’s something you’ve learned in the last 30 days?
A: Every person you deal with in the car business is a case-by-case situation. There is no magic silver bullet that will allow you to interact with people in the same way and be successful.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Who inspires you?
A: Be willing to do what the other people around you are not. This will separate you from the “pack.”
