A: We began as a 15-state carrier and subsidiary of FBL Financial Group in 2003. We’re proud to have grown in many ways in the 20 years since, both in our Des Moines and Chicago offices. We offer competitive, client-friendly annuities built to help people achieve their retirement dreams. Our products are distributed by more than 15,000 independent agents and marketing organizations. In 2015, Magic Johnson Enterprises acquired a controlling interest in EquiTrust.
Q: What makes your business unique?
A: We make customer service our top priority, serving our clients and the agents who sell our products with integrity and passion. Our growing workforce of on-site and hybrid employees remain focused on teamwork — embracing an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to helping people in the communities where we live and work.
