Q: Tell us about your business.
A: Barnum Floors offers everything you can imagine for your hardwood needs. We have solid or engineered, custom on-site hardwood, as well as prefinished flooring. You will find access to every wood species, grade and width available. We offer texturing options, including hand-scraped edges, full face scrape and wire-brushing. Barnum Floors is known for our coloring and finishing knowledge. We can create any stain color desired, as well as provide advanced processes such as: fuming, smoking, dyes and bleaching. We pride ourselves in the hardwood mills we are partnered with. Many of the mills we use are heavily involved in reforestation, environmental practices and proper culling of the forests for sustainability. Stringent guidelines regarding drying of the wood is a top priority to minimize species movement.
Q: What is unique or noteworthy about your team?
A: Barnum Floors is a family owned business started in 1995. One thing that makes Barnum Floors special is we have our own employees rather than subcontractors. We have several crews that are father/son teams and pride ourselves on the “family” environment we provide. Nearly every employee has been here over five years, while over half of our employees have been with us 15-plus years. We don’t have anyone practicing in your home.
