When we think about mental health, we often think about therapy offices or doctor’s appointments. But mental health isn’t built in isolation. It’s built in conversations with friends. It’s found in community centers, neighborhood coffee shops, support groups, libraries, places of worship, parks, and the people who show up when we need them most.

This special Lifting the Veil event brings together storytellers, advocates and local mental health experts to explore how connection strengthens our mental well-being. Through stories featured in the magazine and conversations with experts, we’ll examine what it means to create communities where people feel seen and supported.

Join us as we celebrate the idea that healing isn’t always something we do alone. Sometimes, it’s something we build together.

This year, our event will be in-person on December 8. Join our conversation!
