Main Attraction: 564 guests joined in support of girls and young women of the Greater Des Moines community at Sit On It!, a one-of-a-kind silent and live auction featuring unique pieces of art and furniture submitted by Iowa artists, as well as unique wares from local businesses. Connie Boesen was recognized as the 2017 Louise Noun Visionary Woman awardee for her leadership in the community. Two YWRC clients were honored with the Woman of Worth award for their dedication to learning and uplifting their peers.
