Bravo Greater Des Moines honored the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, Pyramid Theatre Company and Des Moines Business Record Chairman, Connie Wimer, during the 13th Annual Bravo Awards Gala.
During the awards ceremony, the Encore Award was presented to Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden in recognition of the organization’s longstanding and exceptional contributions to the region’s cultural landscape. Pyramid Theatre Company received the Standing Ovation Award. The Standing Ovation Award honors an organization that has seen tremendous programmatic development and operational excellence over the past one-to-two years. Connie Wimer, regional business leader and entrepreneur, was honored with the Bravo Award in recognition of her contribution to arts in the region. She is the first woman to receive the Bravo Award in the organization’s history.
Nora Everett, President of Retirement and Income Solutions at Principal Financial Group, and Mary Coffin, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Excellence at Wells Fargo Home Lending, were featured as the gala’s first female honorary co-chairs and welcomed more than 1,500 guests to the annual event.
