Q: What do you love about your career?
A: I love the fast pace of it all and learning new things. The past 24 months really kept us on our toes and did not allow us to become complacent. It has forced us to do things differently, learn new products and deal with adversity as a team.
Q: What are some guiding principles that you’ve used in your career?
A: Treat everyone with the same respect that you would like to receive. All decisions have a consequence. Learn the short-term and long-term effects for all involved in your actions. Be thankful for the people who have helped you along the way and let them know the value of that relationship. Never take anyone for granted because they could be gone tomorrow. Always be humble.
Q: How did you get started in your career?
A: I built my first house in 2006. It was the best self-teaching experience I could have ever asked for. I needed to prove to myself that I could do it. I had no idea that 16 years later I would be making a living doing what I love with the people I love.
