Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: A direct communicator and problem solver who cares about her family, her team and the world around her. I am a person who embraces life.
Q: What do you love most about Greater Des Moines?
A: Des Moines is a city with a small-town vibe. There are so many opportunities to get involved within our area without all the big city issues. It is a wonderful place to live and work.
Q: How did you get started in your career?
A: As a technology/software trainer by trade, I had a knack for learning things quickly and was hired by Visionary as a web system project manager.
Q: What do you love about your career?
A: The ability to learn new things, interact with people from everywhere and collaborate with my team to build solutions that make our customers’ lives easier.
Q: What are some guiding principles you’ve used in your career?
A: Honesty, Integrity and Intention.
Q: Who do you consider a mentor and why?
A: My mother is strong-willed, witty, intelligent, self-sufficient and was working with computers before I was a dot on her radar. Much of my personality I can attribute to her.
