Children’s Cancer Connection hosted their annual fundraising event, “Camping the Night Away,” on May 12 at the River Center. More than 200 people attended the camp-themed party featuring live music from Brian Congdon and over 80 live and silent auction packages. Jackie Schmillen emceed the program, which raised nearly $75,000 (an event record) for camp programs that serve families affected by childhood cancer.
