On the cover: The local artist Ben Millett designed “Spinning Into Control” in 2019 with a pantograph by Natalia Majors and long-arm quilting help from Kristen Lee. It will be displayed in a solo show at the Des Moines Art Center, along with other quilts that riff on the rainbow Pride flag and other LGBTQ themes. Read more here.
