Associate editor Hailey Evans shares a few personal recommendations.
Kitchen accessory:
Japanese Tenugui towels and Korean Bojagi wraps, traditional cloths used for wrapping up gifts and bento boxes, or as bandanas, hand towels and napkins. Their versatility makes them a great sustainable additon to any kitchen. Find them at Hotori.
Drink:
A Fitzgerald, a modern classic cocktail made from gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and Angostura bitters, shaken and served over ice. It’s the perfect tangy, refreshing drink that I’ll be sipping on patios all summer long.
Downtown Farmers Market find:
The adorable macarons from Rosechu (pictured above), a local microbaker who specializes in kawaii-style macarons in fun flavors like ube, lemon curd, birthday cake and pandan. You can also find her desserts at Zenko Tea locations and DZO Korean BBQ on Ingersoll.
