The permanent installation, “Guest Room at the Drake,” is in a client’s Chicago apartment. The artwork suggests a pair of casement windows, created with bobbin lace. Suspended from the lace of one window frame, shown below, are pieces of actual window trimwork, remnants of a recent remodeling. The name comes from the client’s view of the legendary Drake Hotel.
