Announcing The 2021 Sages Over 70

This year’s Sages Over 70 are innovators, philanthropists, executives and more—and all of them have helped make Greater Des Moines a better place. Here are the 2021 Sages:

  • Linda Carter-Lewis, past president of NAACP Des Moines and a civil rights activist.
  • Harlan “Bud” Hockenberg, attorney.
  • Trudy Holman Hurd, community volunteer and philanthropist.
  • Dwight Jackson, community and business relations specialist at the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families.
  • Don and Charlene Lamberti, Casey’s General Stores and founders of Bridges of Iowa.
  • Suku Radia, past president and CEO of Bankers Trust.
  • Bob Riley, founder and president of Feed Energy and the Riley Resource Group.
