Katie Kelly and Isaac Oberlin of West Des Moines celebrated their wedding with family and friends at St. Ambrose Cathedral, with a reception following at the Surety Hotel. Katie works as a speech-language pathologist and Isaac will finish his MBA from Northwestern University this June.
The event was filled with memories: Katie’s father and Isaac (both Army veterans) saluting each other after her walk down the aisle; a “Bridgerton-esque” violin set during cocktail hour; and the night’s finale, a group arm-and-arm dance to “Piano Man.” “I loved seeing how everything came together,” Katie says. “It made all the hours spent planning completely worth it.”
