Growing Sentiments

Take heartfelt cards for Mom or friends up a notch with these beauties from Marissa Kay Apothecary. After their initial use, the cards can be planted to grow flowers and herbs to enjoy throughout summer and fall. Our favorite is the wildflower blend with chamomile, thyme, poppies, daisies and more. Makers Marissa Kay Stephens and husband Jonathan Hansen source the seed-infused papers from Nepal and print and design the cards here from their Ingersoll corridor home. The two also grow herbs, hops, roses and more in their backyard for use in their infused bath products. Look for the products at Campbell’s Nutrition, Etsy or at the Downtown Farmers’ Market.
