On the Cover – dsm Nov/Dec 2025

On the cover: A giant LED clock called “TimePiece” marks time on the Fitch Building and is best seen from the southwest corner of the Pappajohn Sculpture Park. The video was designed and installed this summer by the artist who goes by Oyoram Visual Composer, who maintains studios in Sherman Hill and Paris. “It shows that each hour is something so precious, and when it’s gone, that’s it,” he told dsm. “You don’t have it back.”

Read more about TimePiece in an article we published online in summer 2025, shortly after its installation. Read the November/December issue here.
