We are a Latino Restaurant 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded and is supported by Iowa Latino restaurateurs to help reduce barriers for emerging and established Latino restaurant owners. We are dedicated to providing educational training, professional development, and specialized courses that equip restaurateurs with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage their businesses, teams, and profitability.
What makes your business special? The organization, built by Latino restaurateurs, supports others by addressing real challenges and breaking barriers such as language access, limited resources, and gaps in industry knowledge.
How does your business contribute to the community?
Through culturally relevant education, hands-on training, and community driving support, we empower both emerging and established restaurateurs to grow sustainable and thriving businesses. We build connections, foster mentorship, and create a network where Latino restaurant professionals can learn from one another, support each other, and succeed together.
What’s next for your company in the coming years?
The organization aims to become a trusted statewide resource that supports restaurants, helps them grow, and removes language barriers. Its goal is to strengthen staff skills, expand partnerships and membership, and contribute to Iowa’s economic growth and culinary diversity.
