What does sexual orientatiom have to do with being a community leader, role model, or someone with a record of defending the rights and dignity of all persons in the sate of Iowa or anywhere in the USA? Why not ‘one Iowa’ awards ceremony recognizing ALL Iowans, regardless of sexual orientation, who are outstanding in their community service devotion for ALL Iowans. Your true prejudice colors are shining through and pepetuating more bias and division by continuing this type of separatism. #OneIowa – pun intended!
