Q: What do you love most about Greater Des Moines?
A: We love how small the Greater Des Moines community feels. It has been a great area to build our business with a variety of options for construction from urban to rural settings without traveling too far outside the metro.
Q: How did you get started in your career?
A: Jim has been in the construction world since his teens starting with framing and concrete work while getting his engineering degree at ISU and on to working for commercial builders prior to residential building. Julie married Jim and continued in her family’s involvement in the building industry.
Q: What do you love about your career?
A: Jim would say he loves building things and seeing a project through to completion. Julie loves working with the clients throughout the project and getting them to the finish line which is moving into their dream home!
Q: What are some guiding principles you’ve used in your career?
A: Our goal is always to work with integrity, be transparent and to value the people we partner with on the vendor/sub-contractor side of the project as well as the clients we are building with.
