A: At Goodwill of Central Iowa (GCI), we look at what a person can do instead of what they cannot do. We believe each person is a unique and purposeful individual. We meet our program participants where they’re at in their employment journey by seeing them, hearing them, and caring about their happiness, fulfillment, and success.
Q: How does your business contribute to the community?
A: GCI contributes to our community by helping those we serve see their own potential. We help individuals overcome employment barriers by building confi dence and strengthening workplace skills as they move toward purposeful employment. In return, the workforce within our community is more vibrant, inclusive and diverse.

A: Each member of our Mission Services Team has an unwavering passion for what they do. They successfully build lasting connections with each program participant. This not only improves our work and resilience as a team but creates a uniquely supportive environment for the individuals we love and believe in.
