On the cover: Des Moines photographer Jami Milne laid on the grass to capture this enchanting photograph of her 4-year-old daughter, Margaux, swinging in their backyard. “She’s feeling these times in such a strange way, at such a young age,” Milne says. “All of this oddity and yet here she is, feeling perfectly wild and free.”
