Smoke Out Hunger

FOOD BANK OF IOWA hosted its annual Smoke Out Hunger July 31 at Cowles Commons. Families and friends gathered at the downtown hub for an afternoon of barbecue, craft beer and desserts. Vendors included Jethro’s BBQ, Gateway Market and Kona Ice, and games and live music added to the fun. In total, the smoking-hot event raised $86,000 benefiting the organization’s initiatives to end hunger. Photographer: Food Bank of Iowa.
